Paediatric Speech Pathologist
Nicky is a highly motivated certified practising speech pathologist who completed her Masters of Speech Pathology at La Trobe University. She is enthusiastic, and prides herself in her ability to naturally engage children; providing exciting and innovative activities that support their communication needs.
With experience working with a range of ages in a private practice setting, Nicky is skilled in assessing and treating the speech and language skills of children and has a particular interest in paediatric stuttering and pragmatic language. Nicky understands that every child is unique, and she is enthusiastic about tailoring speech therapy to build on each child’s strengths and interests.
In her role as Clinical Team Leader, Nicky supports the operational requirements of the Hawthorn clinic, manages and supports team members, and ensures that services delivered to clients are in line with best practice standards.
In her spare time, Nicky enjoys cooking, spending quality time with family and friends, and passionately supports her beloved AFL team, Carlton.
