Group Programs

At Splash, our group programs are a fantastic way to bring the skills learnt in individual sessions into a group setting.

We offer a range of group programs to cater for a variety of needs. All group programs offered align with your child’s individual therapy program.

We also offer education programs for parents and caregivers, facilitated by our Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists. These programs provide parents and carers with information and skills to support their child’s development at home.

NDIS funding can be used for these programs.

Splash’s group programs are only available to active clients.

2026 Summer Holidays Groups

High School Readiness Group

Suitable for children starting high school in 2026.

The High School Readiness Group aims to support your child to develop the school skills and support plans so that they feel prepared for their transition to high school. The group setting provides an opportunity for children undergoing the transition from primary school to high school to come together, collaborate and learn skills that will support their transition. Our goal is to empower each child to gain an understanding of how they learn best and develop a ‘toolkit’ of supports that they can use when starting at their new school. The group will run in clinic with a group of same aged children, with additional parent/caregiver sessions scheduled to support readiness for the whole family!

The group will cover the following areas:

  • Develop an understanding of how they learn best, who can support them at school and gain insight into how they can advocate for their own learning support needs.

  • Explore their new school environment and visualise what their new routines will look like.

  • Develop tools so that they can use to organise themselves and their belongings

  • Understand how to follow a timetable and manage expectations across their school week

  • Practice using a computer to engage in learning tasksExplore what new friendships and social activities may look like
