Monica Pacheco
Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist
Masters of Physiotherapy
Monica is a passionate Paediatric Physiotherapist who is dedicated to supporting children and their families during the early and most important stages of development. She completed her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra and brings a diverse background in both healthcare and early childhood education to her role.
With experience as an Early Childhood Educator and Physiotherapist, Monica has developed a strong foundation in understanding children’s development from both therapeutic and educational perspectives. Her early experience working as an in-home carer and support worker for children with complex conditions has also provided valuable insight into the day-to-day realities of family life, shaping her compassionate and practical approach to care.
Monica has a particular interest in neurodevelopmental assessment and early intervention, with a focus on supporting children in their formative years. She is passionate about empowering families with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to support their child’s development within everyday routines.
Her therapy style is warm, playful, and family-centred. Monica loves making therapy both fun and meaningful for children, whilst building strength, coordination, and confidence through play.
Monica enjoys staying active through dancing, running, and yoga. She has a love for cooking and sharing Peruvian food, especially her favourite dish, papa a la huancaína, and speaks conversational Spanish, continuing to build her connection to her culture.
