Paediatric Occupational Therapist
Liat completed her studies at the University of California Davis and La Trobe University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with High Honours) minoring in Education and Human Development, and a Masters of Occupational Therapy Practice. Liat maintains a strong passion for supporting children with school-based occupations, drawing upon her many years of experience working within the school system as a primary school teacher, Distance Learning Support Specialist and private tutor.
Liat values a collaborative therapeutic approach, which involves working closely with teachers, families and the wider disciplinary community to empower children and enable their participation in meaningful activities. She believes in making therapy creative, motivating and aligned to the individual interests of each child.
Outside of work, Liat enjoys baking special treats, spending time at the beach and eating delicious pasta at her local restaurants.
