Lauren graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Music (Piano Performance) and a Masters of Music Therapy. She is a Registered Music Therapist, acknowledged by the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA). Lauren has worked for several years as a piano tutor for students of all ages, including children and adolescents. 

Lauren currently splits her time between her role at Splash and her piano tuition. In both roles, Lauren provides support to young people and their families, through the development of their skills and musical repertoires. Lauren is particularly passionate about supporting children in their social communication, emotional regulation and fine motor skills, and supporting adolescents in their self-expression and formation of their identities. Lauren uses music as a medium to reach their therapeutic goals.  

Out of her professional life, Lauren enjoys Salsa classes and attending Salsa Socials with friends. She also loves to read and play the piano. Lauren is a new mum to her baby budgie, Bibble, who keeps her busy!
