Pokemon Social Group

Whether your child enjoys the Pokemon video games, toys, TV series, or cards, this program is designed to create a facilitative environment for all Pokemon lovers to share their love of the franchise! Through various fun Pokemon-based activities, children will develop their social communication, expressive and receptive language, and problem-solving skills alongside new friends.

Facilitated by Speech Pathologists, the group will run as weekly sessions in a small group format.

Sessions may consist of Pokémon-themed structured games, collaborative activities, and mini-challenges. During these sessions, children may also be guided to play the official Trading Card Game (subject to availability and interest of participants).

By the end of the program, children can be expected to leave with increased confidence in their social communication, expressive and receptive language, and problem-solving skills. Most importantly, children will have had the opportunity to forge new friendships with peers who share their interest!
