Alessia Saggio

Therapy Support Assistant

Alessia is currently completing a Master of Speech Pathology at Deakin University, Geelong, building on her Bachelor of Health Science from La Trobe University (2024).

She joined Splash to further develop her skills and knowledge as an aspiring speech pathologist, drawn to the clinic’s warm, supportive culture and commitment to teamwork.

Before joining Splash, Alessia worked in Outside School Hours Care, where she created a fun and engaging environment for primary-school children. That experience, together with her academic training, underpins her caring and encouraging approach to supporting young clients and their families. Alessia loves providing a welcoming space where children feel supported to grow and achieve their goals. She values the opportunity to contribute to sessions that help each child communicate and connect more confidently.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Alessia reading or relaxing by the beach, coffee in hand. A keen baker, she enjoys trying new dessert recipes to share with friends and family, and she never misses a chance to cheer on her beloved Collingwood Football Club.
