Feeding, Eating and Mealtimes

This popular online program provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to feel confident in supporting eating and mealtimes at home. Our Occupational Therapists or Speech Pathologists will be online with you for 6 weeks via Microsoft Teams to give you expert education and advice.

The program is packed with practical information, resources and tonnes of tips and tricks to help you and your child experience more success with mealtimes.

The group will cover the following areas:

  • Learning and understanding more about why eating or mealtimes might be hard for your child

  • What you as caregivers can do to set up mealtimes for success

  • How to meet your child where they are, and help them through the steps towards eating and enjoying foods

  • The importance of adapting our language around food and mealtimes

  • And many tips to help you and your child enjoy mealtimes more!

Program Format: 

This group runs during Term 2 2026 across 6x 1hr sessions:

  • Thursday 30th April, 10:30am - 11:30am

  • Thursday 7th May, 10:30am - 11:30am

  • Thursday 14th May, 10:30am - 11:30am

  • Thursday 21st May, 10:30am - 11:30am

  • Thursday 28th May, 10:30am - 11:30am

  • Thursday 4th June, 10:30am - 11:30am

A post group report will be prepared to provide a summary & guide next steps.
